The Halifax Mooseheads will be without 16-year-old leading scorer Nathan MacKinnon Thursday night in Bathurst.
“He’s in some pain, it’s day to day,” says General Manager Cam Russell. “We’re not going to put him in a situation we’re he’s not comfortable especially at this time of the year with so much hockey left to play.”
The forward injured his shoulder Friday night against the PEI Rocket and sat out Saturday’s and Sunday’s games. He played Tuesday against the Bathurst Titan but will not play Thursday.
